Urbana: Mendenhall and Offense Clips Defense in Spring Game
In the annual spring football game, the Blue Knight offense, led by soon-to-be senior quarterback D.J. Mendenhall, defeated the Blue Knight defense 45-38 on Saturday afternoon. The scoring system was altered to reward the defense with points for turnovers and three-and-outs, but they couldn't stop Mendenhall and the Urbana offense. Mendenhall finished with 4 touchdowns on the afternoon, including 3 through the air and 1 on the ground. Soon-to-be senior defensive back Jake Krupko had a pair of interceptions for the Blue Knight defense
